Creamy Hummus Toast

How It's done:


1-2 slices of bread
Cream cheese
Hummus (recipe below)
1 egg
3 slices of cucumber
Parsley for garnish
Sesame seeds
Salt and pepper to taste


200-220g can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1/4 cup tahini
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 small garlic clove, peeled and minced
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
2 to 3 tablespoons filtered water
Salt and pepper to taste


Add all hummus ingredients to a blender and combine until smooth (30 sec - 1 min). Toast bread and spread with cream cheese and hummus. Top with sliced boiled egg, sesame seeds, and parsley. Add salt and pepper to serve.
