Spicy Avocado Dip

How It's done:


3 ripe avocados
1 small red onion, diced
3 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
2 tomatoes, seeds removed and diced
1-2 red chillies, depending on how spicy you like it
1-2 fresh cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon cumin
Sea or rock salt and pepper to taste


Slice avocados, remove the seeds and scrape the flesh into a medium-sized bowl. Mash avocado with a fork before adding diced onion, chilli and tomato. Add garlic, cumin, lemon juice and salt and pepper then stir to combine. Serve immediately with rye toast or vegetable sticks.
