Coconut Fish Cakes

How It's done:


350g canned tuna, drained
2 eggs lightly whisked
2 tbsp coconut flakes
2 tbsp coconut flour
2 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
1 tbsp coconut oil for cooking


Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl and shape the mixture into patties, cover and place in the fridge to set for 20 mins. On the stovetop, heat a frying pan to medium heat and add 1 tbsp of coconut oil. Remove patties from the fridge and cook until they turn golden brown. Gently flip each patty to cook on the other side until cooked through. Serve with salad and tzatziki dip.
